You could've lived such a full live
Gone on adventures
Seen the world
and tried out new things

Sensed what was going on
There were all these signs
But I didn't listen

You would have gratuated
Studied amazing things
Might have gone to a concert of Linkin Park
and grown into a wonderful person

been there in time
to say goodbye
and play one last game of chess

made your mark on this world

made it memorable
let you know that you were loved

Life unlived

Just a teenager
getting through high school
finding your way

But never the chance to explore
to grow up
be the man you dreamed you would be

There's chances you couldn't take
experiences you missed out on
 lives you couldn't touch

There are loves you didn't find
 places you couldn't go
and memories you couldn't make

Or studies you couldn't choose
and people you didn't meet...
You were gone to soon

You're life was a life unlived
Roads not taken
and choices unmade

The world was a richer place knowing you
And it went gray the day you left
It was a difficult time
And you fought a hard battle

Even though your time was limited
you made it count
You were here
and you'll be remembered

Because even if it was for a little while
a too short while
they were fifteen memerable years
in which you made a difference
you made your mark
and you touched lives

Then, now and until the day I die
I will remember you, Tom
The passion in your voice
the twinkle in your eyes
